Consolation prize

We are SO jealous that you guys were able to get together! If only we had known that PA was going to be the place to be.... But, as a small consolation to ourselves, this is what we were doing while you all were hanging out. Recognize this guy?

No way! I'm so jealous!

Rob, knowing you get a little tongue tied around quasi-celebrities, I was wondering if meeting Harlan was anything like meeting Peter Breinholt. hee hee.

HC kind of looks like Andy Wilson.
I'd be a tad more excited about HC.
P.S. Chad thinks we should name a baby boy "Tad." Any thoughts?
P.P.S. No need to state that a baby boy is nowhere in our immediate future, right? That was not an announcement of any kind.
P.P.P.S. Rob, what's up with your Provo opportunity? We never heard about your December visit. Inquiring minds want to know...

Tad?!!!

"Tad" is the name my dad, brothers and I call people when they're being knuckleheads. I think it started when someone said, like with a Boston accent "You're re-tahd-ed," and it just shortened to "Tad" but then we started saying it almost like it's two syllables like "Ta-yad." So "You're such a tad," or "He's such a tad," are familiar phrases in our household. Because a family that mocks together, stays together.

And I echo Alisa. What did you guys think of the whole Provo practice sitch?

Hmmm. We don't use "Tad" as a derogatory term in our house. We use "tree". The reason being that my mom is a little dyslexic and she sometimes mixes up words. When she does this, my dad calls her a "tree-rard" (dyslexic for retard). Then we all laugh. There is no end to our sensitivity.
